65 Michael Franklyn, retired after 30 years, is working part-time as a licensed nurse, traveling worldwide, and writing memoirs for his children.
72 Beatrice Paul is now retired but continues teaching, supervising, and advising students at Salem State College.
79 Byam Whitney, Jr., is semi-retired and still resides in Milton, Massachusetts, where he enjoys visiting with his four grandchildren and three daughters who all live in New England.
80 John Vermilye recently relocated to Florida from Geneva, Switzerland, after 12 years and is chairman and CEO of Intiex, an internet messaging exchange.
92 David Carroll became managing director/partner of Financial Architects of Boston & Providence, a firm managing generational wealth and integrated insurance solutions....John Renaud is practicing trademark and copyright law with Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.
94 David MacMillan is currently knowledge base content manager for Ipswitch, Inc. of Lexington, Massachusetts.
95 James McDonald teaches history at Mashpee High School and is beginning work on his ALM thesis.
96 Mari Willams has been working in the Office of Admissions at MIT in various capacities since graduating from the Extension School. This past August she became assistant director and has been reading admissions applications. Her primary responsibility is to oversee the admissions website and has been project managing its complete redesign since January, 2001. Mari says, "I love my job!"
97 Sarabelle Madoff Annenberg writes that she is "happily and gratefully continuing to pursue courses in art history, French and Italian (beginning)..." She saves time for volunteer work, "but the Extension School experience is the one I should hate to abandon."...Iskender H. Catto graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 2000 with a JD degree. He is an associate practicing public finance law at Hawkins, Delafield & Wood in New York City....After finishing his ALB, Edward J. Modestino entered a master of liberal arts program at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his MLA in psychology and then entered the master of philosophy program, also at U. Penn., completing the MPhil in May of 2001. In August, 2001 he began a PhD program in complex systems and brain sciences at Florida Atlantic University.
98 Silsby Marino is currently working for Verizon in Portland, Maine, as a senior account representative and is enrolled in a master's degree program in instructional systems/major distance learning at Florida State University.
00 Deborah Gravina will be attending the London School of Economics.... Anne Jones will enroll in the Vermont School of Law.... Mariana San Martin Millet has been accepted into the PhD program in Spanish literature at Harvard beginning in fall 2001.... Michael J. White will be attending Bristol, Rhode Island's Roger Williams University School of Law in the evenings while continuing to work for the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General.
01 Paul Clear has accepted an offer of admission to the clinical psychology graduate program at the University of Houston....Eric Forster has been accepted into a two-year master's program at the New School (formerly the New School for Social Research) and then hopes to enter the PhD program in the anthropology department....Elizabeth Hammack has been admitted to the Case Western Reserve School of Law....Lance Houston will be a first-year law student at Suffolk Law School....Lisa Jacobson will enroll at Brooklyn Law School....Anthony Lorizio has been admitted to The Johns Hopkins University, where he will pursue a master's degree in government.

83 Jackie Miller has an etching in the exhibit "Proof in Print," which opened in February at Boston Public Library. Her etching is also in the book of the same name, which was published in March.
84 Maurice R. Mitts, ALB '82, is a practicing attorney in Philadelphia. In July, 2000 he completed a two-month-long jury trial that resulted in one of the largest verdicts ever in Pennsylvania--$352,000,000. It is also the largest verdict award against a US bank. Mr. Mitts' accomplishment was featured in the September 11, 2000 edition of the National Law Journal.
85 Mark G. Mazzie became the chief knowledge officer at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York City. While he is based in New York, he gets to spend a good deal of time in the London office. He is enjoying living in New York and "running into lots of Harvard folks within the firm."
89 Margie Lee was one of 22 artists selected for the Invitational Art Exhibition at the Lewis & Clark Center for Arts & History in Lewiston, Idaho. Artists were selected from Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington to celebrate the Dogwood Festival. The exhibition ran from April 5 to April 29. Two pieces by Ms. Lee were included--Tights and Portrait. Portrait, an 8x10 acrylic, won honorable mention.
90 Paul A. Finn, who received his JD degree from New England School of Law in 1976 prior to earning his ALM at the Extension School, has recently authored Vol. 47 of the West Law Massachusetts Practice Series, titled Mediation and Arbitration, 2000 Edition. Mr. Finn is president of Commonwealth Mediation & Conciliation, Inc. located in Brockton, Massachusetts.
94 William D. McCants earned his JD degree from Harvard Law School in June, 2000 and served for one year as a law clerk to Senior Associate Justice Ruth Abrams of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In September he joined the Boston law firm of Goodwin Proctor and Hoar as an associate in the environmental law area.
98 Heidi Blair-Esteves has been selected by Nova Science Publishers and the American Political Science Association to author a book on First Lady Letitia Christian Tyler, wife of John Tyler, for their First Ladies Series due in 2003.

83 Theresa DiLando received an award from the American Cancer Society for her fund-raising efforts on behalf of women with breast cancer. Ms. DiLando is a one-to-one volunteer at the Dana Farber Institute in Boston.
93 Arnold Garron, previously a Hancock wholesaler, has been named divisional vice president for the Mid-Atlantic, New York, New England, and Great Lakes Regions by John Hancock Financial Services. In this role, according to a recent press release, "Garron is responsible for all facets of wholesaler sales management, including the recruitment, skill and knowledge development, performance management, and support of wholesalers."

86 James Meere has had several rewarding jobs in the software industry since graduation. He has just finished a five-year contract in Cairo, Egypt, developing an information system used within the Ministry of Health.

99 Formerly a freelance copyeditor and proofreader, Sybil Carey is now the assistant editor in the periodicals department of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Her responsibilities include copyediting and proofing for UU World Magazine.
00 After graduating from the CPC Program, Gail DeMoura used the writing and research skills she learned in her Extension classes to transition to a new career in technical writing. She now works at Rocket Software as a technical writer.
01 Marcia Deihl continues in her position as administrative assistant to the Anthropology Librarian at Tozzer Library at Harvard.... For the past four months, Michael Estabrook has been the public relations and advertising manager for Millipore Corporation, where he manages company advertising campaigns and PR. Although he now has his degree in hand, Mr. Estabrook still plans on taking courses at the Extension School and hopes eventually to turn his communication and marketing career toward academia.... After working at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies in the Publications Office, Susan Seefelt Lesieutre is taking a break from working and is preparing to move out of state.
