At the Harvard Faculty Club on Valentine’s Day, musicians Ben Sears and Brad Connor entertained alumni and guests with their inspired and original performances of Gershwin tunes. An elegant dinner rounded out a fun and romantic evening.

Alumni and new graduates enjoyed Boston’s spectacular skyline during a sunset dinner cruise of the harbor on May 19, 2006. A three-piece jazz band played as alumni danced the night away.

Annual Alumni Banquet

After a cocktail reception in the courtyard of Quincy House, alumni and their guests, including many members of the class of 2006, enjoyed an elegant meal in the dining room on June 6, 2006. The evening included a review of the alumni association’s activities, reflections by Dean Michael Shinagel on the history of Extension and its recent achievements, the honoring of five distinguished Extension faculty, and the awarding of the Distinguished Alumni Service Award to Ella Smith, ABE ’66. Dr. Henry Leitner, assistant dean for information technology at the Harvard Extension School and 25-year Extension School honorand, reflected on his many years at Harvard in an address at the annual Alumni Banquet on June 6, 2006.
