Kazuo Sai, ’06, is working for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Baseball Club, the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. He welcomes his friends to visit him in Colorado Springs for snowboarding, skiing, or watching baseball games. Mahmut Ipsirli, ’05, began an MBA program at Fatih University and is a partner in an advertising company, MAGISTILO LLC. Dmitry Neil Berdiev, ’05, published Loan Financing: A Guide for Small Business Owners through Small Business Empowerment Publishing. Levani R. Lipton, ’05, established the Ananda Foundation, a 501c3 organization that offers assistance and funding to NGOs and grassroots organizations to eradicate worldwide poverty and suffering. Lipton was a featured guest on Voices of Abyssinia TV, a weekly television program featuring Ethiopian news in the Cambridge, Malden, Boston, and Somerville areas. Merce Nursalim, ’05, is employed as a marketer at Pt. Bukit Bara En-Gedi Energi, a family-owned coal company that does trading throughout Indonesia and the world. Vivian Orozco Chagui, ’05, is a financial analyst in Franchise Lending of Sovereign Bank. Brian Smith, ’05, is an Ebay entrepreneur involved in buying and selling digital cameras. He recently earned Bronze Power Seller status. His user id is 99underworld99. Bolanle Asiru, ’04, was assistant vice president at Credit Suisse First Boston in the London Office and is now with Barclays Bank, London as a consultant. Nilgun Aytekin, ’04, is employed in the sales department at Glassware Group of Sisecam, the largest glass producer in Turkey. She is an active member of the Harvard Club of Turkey. Melissa Byrd, ’04, is completing an MBA at Babson College in global management and marketing. She was promoted to marketing manager for Aramis and Designer Fragrances, a division of the Estée Lauder Company in New York. On a personal note, she got engaged to her boyfriend while vacationing in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Ayça Gul Gunes, ’04, is employed in the human resources department at Glassware Group of Sisecam, the largest glass producer in Turkey. She is an active member of the Harvard Club of Turkey. Hideki Kano, ’04, is employed in the banking industry in Japan. He is preparing to take the GMAT to begin graduate school in 2007. Leanne Laudico-Arcinue, ’04, is conference program director for Worldwide Business Research in New York City. Michael J. Munday, ’04, is vice president of operations at Warner Power Conversion, LLC in Warner, New Hampshire. His previous position was director of operations at Magellan Aerospace. Kim Svoboda, ’04, is employed in the education department of USA Today. Guadelupe Cernusco, ’03, resides in Cordoba, Argentina and works in public relations in a communications agency, Latinadv. Alberto Jimenez, ’03, is a strategy consultant for IBM for the Financial Markets Group based in New York City. Carolina Sanz, ’03, is employed for Hosa-Denmar, a flower export company with locations in Colombia and Ecuador. Sanz reports that she has recommended the CM Program to prospective Colombians because she was extremely satisfied with it. Monica Sellmeister Bueno, ’03, is marketing superintendent for Liberty Seguros, the Brazilian subsidiary of Liberty Mutual. She is responsible for marketing strategy, institutional marketing, and public relations. Mohammed Ali Shariff, ’03, completed a second master’s degree in development management from the Development Studies Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has returned to India to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Governance Reforms and Infrastructure Development Division as a consultant. Rashim Gupta, ’02, is a sales manager for MetLife and is contemplating doing a PhD. Andrew Male, ’02, is pursuing an MBA at Case Western University’s Weatherhead School of Management where he was named alumni association scholar. Federico José Cruz, ’01, is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Latin American studies at the University of Salamanca, Spain. After presenting his thesis on the quality of representation in Latin America, he plans to relocate to Paris or Spain to work for an NGO or multilateral institution. Ursula Leitzman, ’00, was awarded a master’s degree in intercultural relations in 2004 and serves as a manager for training and development at International Orientation (IOR) Global Services. Mark Canha, ’98, was promoted to principal at Prism Venture Partners of Westwood, Massachusetts. He has closed its fifth venture capital fund, raising $250 million from limited partners to invest in high-tech and life sciences start-ups. Prism’s new fund brings its total capital under management to about $1.25 billion. Mehmet Baris Hitay, ’97, in December 2004 was awarded a MSc in marketing from Aegean University and he plans to complete a PhD there. He is active and concerned with environmental protection and preservation of the Aegean Sea and Turkey. He is a partner in Hitay, Ltd. Co., Izmir, Turkey and manager of Hitay Plaza, a building of commercial and rental tenants. Bryan G. Kelly, ’96, is head of finance at the Bank of America Europe Card Services in County Leitrim, Ireland. Robyn Ochs, ’87, is the editor (with Sarah E. Rowley) of a new book Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around the World, an anthology of short personal writings by people in 32 different countries on six continents. She and her wife were married in Massachusetts on May 17, 2004.
