Spring-Term Grades Available Via DCE Tel

Beginning Saturday, May 30, spring-term students may call DCE Tel, the Division of Continuing Education Telephone Information System, (617) 496-1111, to hear their spring-term final grades. Students must use their PIN (personal identification number) to access the DCE Tel system; they may call the Registrar's Office, (617) 495-9522, if they have questions.

Extension School students and alumni are invited to send nominations for the Bonanno, Conway, Shattuck, and Fussa Teaching Awards, and the Derek Bok Public Service Prize to Dean Michael Shinagel, 51 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA 02138-3722, before May 1, 1998. Nomination forms are available at Grossman Library and at the front desk of 51 Brattle Street.

All alumni as well as students receiving degrees or certificates this year are cordially invited to attend the Harvard Extension Alumni Association's annual dinner scheduled for Tuesday, June 2. Full details will be available through the degree and certificate offices in May.

The Harvard Extension School preview brochure will be printed in April. The 1998-99 catalogue will be posted on our website in mid-July, and the printed catalogue will be available in early August. All students who registered in 1997-98 and all alumni will receive a copy of the preview. To request a catalogue, you must follow the instructions printed on the preview brochure. Degree and certificate candidates will automatically receive both the preview and the catalogue.

The Career & Academic Resource Center (CARC) is sponsoring a series of workshops in April:

All workshops meet from 5:30-7 pm at 51 Brattle Street and are free to the public. To register for one or more of the workshops call CARC at (617) 495-8750.

Extension School students are invited to continue their studies this summer at the Harvard Summer School. Several hundred day and evening courses will be offered, many of which can be applied toward Extension School degrees and certificates. The 1998 Summer School session runs from June 22 through August 14. Registration ends Wednesday, June 3.
