The Harvard Extension Student Association

Nicki De La Rosa, Management Programs Liaison

The Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) was established in 2001 to provide service to the 13,000 Harvard Extension School students. Our most important goal is to build and maintain a strong sense of community among our student population. To that end, HESA sponsors a variety of activities including social gatherings on the first Friday of every month, small academic forums, and information sessions. There are also approximately 12 individual clubs under the larger HESA umbrella, which provide students with opportunities to engage with peers and the larger Harvard community.

The HESA executive board meets on the second and fourth Friday of every month in the second floor library at 51 Brattle Street. All executive board meetings are open to students, who are encouraged to attend.

All management programs candidates are represented on the board by a liaison, as are students in other programs. This year, I have the distinct privilege of being the management programs liaison. I have been working with the HESA executive board as well as Dean Comeau’s office to produce events that will enrich the educational experience for all students.

If you would like more information about HESA or how to become involved, please visit our website. You may also contact me at nickila@fas.harvard.edu or HESA President Lorena Corona at corona@dcemail.harvard.edu. Thank you and I look forward to talking with each of you at upcoming events!
