The Un-Letter is the Harvard Extension School undergraduate program newsletter. This multimedia edition spotlights the rich diversity of our degree candidates, instructors, course offerings, and resources.

In this issue, we feature Judith McDeVitt, a new admit to the degree program, who shares some of her experiences as a tugboat captain. Next, alumnus Amit Samuel interviews the instructor of MUSI E-145 Electronic Music: History and Aesthetics of Popular Music Since the 1960s. In our “Use Your Resources” section, Claudia Murrow talks about her participation in the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation, while degree candidates Katherine Peterson and Jonathan Coffin thoughtfully explain why they chose their respective fields of study in economics and religion. We added video links to CARC workshops on becoming a teacher and becoming a lawyer. Finally, we wrap up this edition by recognizing the accomplishments of our degree candidates who recently have won awards, made presentations at conferences, or have been published. Among the accomplishments we include two ALB candidates who were finalists in the Commencement speaker competition. Videos of their speeches are available on this website. Happy clicking!
